🇿🇦 South Africa | How is everything so delicious AND affordable?!
During my trip around Durban and Cape Town, almost every meal was a flavor explosion without breaking the bank! My girlfriends and I agreed—this was our best foodie trip ever! 🦪 Knysna Oyster Company (Cape Town) 📍 Near V&A Waterfront Last-minute oyster craving? Google said "book tomorrow," but we walked in luckily! Oyster heaven: Mixed platter with 3 sizes—plump, fresh, and DIRT CHEAP! Paired with fish, California rolls, and white wine. Perfect end to a day watching Camps Bay sunset! 🌅 🍷 Tokara Restaurant (Stellenbosch) 📍 1hr from Cape Town Booked a scenic outdoor table (thanks, hotel concierge!). Views: Tokara’s vineyards + olive groves 🍇 Food highlights: Daily special tuna starter, perfect pork & fish mains, killer desserts. Pro tip: Post-meal wine tasting next door—more on that later! 🏡 Enzo (Scottburgh, Durban) 📍 5-min walk from our stay, ocean-facing! Old-school family restaurant (open for decades!). First try: Almost missed closing time—only pizza left (but wow, what a pizza!). Second visit: Went early! Snails, salads, pork ribs, fried chicken, and their legendary avocado pizza (🚨 so much avocado, yet light!). Vibes: Locals in PJs picking up 5+ pizzas for family dinners—peak small-town coziness. #SouthAfrica #CapeTown #Durban #FoodieParadise #TravelEats
