🌸🌺🌿🍃 Tōshōdai-ji(1)

Tōshōdai-ji is a Chinese Buddhist Vinaya (Ritsu) sect temple and the head temple of the Ritsu sect in Japan's southern capital. 🏯 🌸🌺🌿 The high monk Jianzhen from the Tang Dynasty overcame numerous difficulties, including blindness, and successfully crossed over to Japan for the sixth time in 753. 🌸🌺🌿 This Japanese Buddhist Vinaya architectural complex, led by Jianzhen, was completed in 770. 🌿 In the main hall, the Golden Hall, the primary enshrinement is of Vairocana Buddha, with Medicine Buddha and Thousand-Armed Guanyin on either side. 🌸🌺🌿 In theGoeido Hall, there is a statue made by Jianzhen's disciples based on his appearance before nirvana. However, this hall has been under renovation in recent years and is temporarily closed. 🚧 🌸🌺🌿 #Nara 🌸 #ToshodaiJi 🌺 #HeijoPalaceRuins 🌿🍃
