Last summer: freezing in Norway. This summer: freezing in Edinburgh! 😂 ✈️ Day 1: Arrival Airlink 100 bus (30 mins to city center, £8 round-trip). Kid- and luggage-friendly! Hotel Indigo Princes St: Great location (15-min walk to all attractions). Tiny rooms (typical Europe!), but Scottish breakfast is huge (girls, share it!). ⚠️ Elevator only to 4F—pack light if on 5F! Lunch: Overhyped Shu Xiang Men Di (meh). National Museum of Scotland: Dolly the Sheep + interactive games—kids won’t leave at closing! 🚶 Day 2: City Walk 1️⃣ Scott Monument → Scottish National Gallery 2️⃣ Princes St Gardens (playground by the fountain!). 3️⃣ Royal Mile: Souvenir chaos (my kid insisted on a Dolly sheep plush 😅). 4️⃣ Calton Hill: Quick photo stop. Dinner: Skipped Makars Mash Bar (1.5h wait!) for Whisky Room (standard "white people food"). 🛫 Day 3: Fly Home PSA: No passport control at Edinburgh Airport! Duty-free whisky for dad. #Edinburgh #FamilyTravel #UKWithKids #TravelTips
