Located right in Grassmarket, it's super convenient for tourists visiting the castle. 🏰 Both lunch and dinner (5-7pm) have great deals—starter + main + coffee for £19.9, or just main + coffee for £13.9! 💰 For starters, my friends had onion soup (I skipped it, so no review). For mains, we shared three dishes, and all were delicious! 🍲 Roast Chicken with Forestiere Sauce This was my order—the chicken breast was incredibly tender, with a perfect texture I could never achieve at home! The creamy mushroom sauce was so good that my friend said they'd come back just for this dish. Definitely the table favorite! 🏆 🌭 Grilled Sausage with Mustard Sauce Slightly tangier and lighter than the creamy mushroom sauce. The sausage had no weird porky smell—highly recommend trying this one too! 🫕 Quiche with Green Salad A HUGE surprise! I was worried about the goat cheese being too strong (I'm super sensitive to flavors), but it wasn't at all! The cheese, bell peppers, tomatoes, and other veggies blended perfectly. SO GOOD 🤤! I legit wanted to order two portions next time. Perfect for sharing with friends! ⚠️ Heads up: The restaurant said escargots (snails) aren't in season right now.
