As a long-time Glaswegian, Iβd actually never tried much Scottish food before. But this time, I had to treat myself β so I went to Ardnamurchan, a highly-rated spot on Xiaohongshu, near Southern Snacks! π½οΈ What We Ordered: 1οΈβ£ Starter: Scallops (Β£7) ππ₯ Two massive seared scallops on apple purΓ©e & honey glaze. My favorite scallops ever β so juicy and flavorful! One each wasnβt enough π. 2οΈβ£ Langoustines Main (Β£29) π¦π A huge portion of tender langoustines (split for easy eating) with crispy fries. Super fresh, sweet, and perfectly cooked β a must for seafood lovers! 3οΈβ£ Lamb Shank (Β£27) ππ A signature dish β slow-cooked until falling-off-the-bone tender, with no gamey taste. Spiced with cumin & served with skirlie (Scottish oatmeal stuffing). Meat heaven! 4οΈβ£ Venison Stew (Β£16.95) π¦π₯ A classic Scottish ingredient, but we accidentally ordered the stew (meant to get the grilled version). Not bad, but the lamb was better. Needed more salt & tomato for depth. Try the grilled venison instead! 5οΈβ£ Orange Tiramisu (Β£3) ππ° Light, not too sweet, with a subtle citrus twist. Decent, but the real win? It came with the set menu! π° The Verdict? After suffering London prices & sad "white people food", Glasgow is a bargain paradise! Set Menu Deals: 2 courses (main + starter/dessert) β Β£19.95 3 courses β Β£22.95 (with options like lamb, risotto, fish, or steak!) No service charge! (Tip separately if you want.) Only downside? A bit slow on service. Final damage: ~Β£40pp for a FEAST. Worth it! π Ardnamurchan Scottish Restaurant & Bar 325 Hope St, Glasgow G2 3PT #Glasgow #GlasgowFood #ScottishCuisine π΄π½οΈβ¨
