🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Edinburgh Restaurant The Spence

Celebrating an Anniversary ❤️ The interior of The Spence is beautifully decorated, perfect for a photo op. 📸 For the main course, I ordered Roast Monkfish and Dry Aged Creedy Carver Duck. The monkfish was a bit salty, but overall it was quite good. I actually liked the saltiness, especially with the crispy cheese strings. 😍 The Creedy Carver Duck was a bit undercooked for my taste, but if you prefer your duck on the rarer side, you might enjoy it. Overall, it was still a good experience. For dessert, I had the chocolate tart and the clementine & kalamansi dark chocolate ganache. Additionally, they surprised us with a candle cake. If you mention a celebration when making a reservation, they might provide a complimentary treat. The sorbet that came with the clementine & kalamansi dark chocolate ganache was delicious, with a lovely orange flavor. 😍 The chocolate tart was good, but nothing extraordinary. We also tried the cranberry cocktail, which was recommended by the staff and was quite pleasant. The service was excellent; the waitress was very friendly and attentive. For two people, including the service charge, we spent £108. #EdinburghFood #EdinburghRestaurants #Edinburgh
