πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ New York | The Best Affordable Thai Food I've Had in 24 Years 😭

If this place opened next to my house, I'd definitely be there every week! 🀀 It's incredibly delicious!! I ordered a whole table of dishes and didn't hit a single dud, and it's super cheap too! Crispy pork belly basil rice, crab fried rice, duck curry, and Thai boat noodles are all super satisfying. Even the ordinary mango sticky rice reached a new level of deliciousness! πŸ₯Ή - πŸ“ Myrtle Thai (Average cost: $20+) πŸ”ͺ 438 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205 - Appetizers: Thai dumplings - Similar to the pork and shrimp shumai at dim sum restaurants, thin crust with big fillings, very tasty. Garlic wings - Large pieces of chicken wings, crispy outside and tender inside, salty-sweet with garlic aroma, a bit like Bonchon. Thai puff - Crispy shell with a creamy curry chicken and potato filling, which I really like. Main Courses: Basil over rice - So good with rice!! Crispy pork belly with sour, spicy, and savory flavors, fatty but not greasy, mixed with fried soft-boiled eggs, incredibly delicious. Duck curry - Rich and fruity curry, crispy duck skin, tender duck meat, and most importantly, not fishy at all. Crab fried rice - The fried rice has a great "wok hei"! Fresh and sweet chunks of crab meat with crispy-fried eggs, quickly devoured by us. Pad See-ew with beef - Also has a good "wok hei," but not as outstanding compared to other dishes. Thai boat noodle soup - Very unique taste, salty and spicy, super appetizing! We even finished the soup. Desserts: Mango sticky rice - We got the last serving πŸ˜† Sweet and sour mango, the glutinous rice is just right, mixed with sweet coconut milk, super fragrant!! Drinks: Their drinks are not expensive, all under $10 πŸ”ͺ Summer salt - Sweet and sour passionfruit soda, beautiful layers. Autumn in New York - Refreshing lemon soda, very palate-cleansing. Softly spoken - My favorite!! Sweet lychee, very addictive. Nom-Yen - Very pink milk tea. #NewYork #紐約 #NYCFood #NYCRestaurants #NYCOffTheRadar #NYCBuriedTreasure #WhatToEatInNYC #NYCThaiFood #NYCThai #ThaiRestaurantNYC #AffordableEatsNYC #SoloDiningNYC #MangoStickyRice #MustTryInNYC
