🥹 Despite the summer heat, I went to the small town of Moret-sur-Loing, which is about a 1-hour drive away, located to the southeast of Fontainebleau in Paris. The Impressionist painter Sisley also lived here. 🥰 Picnics and strolling: This city is very small, with only the riverside area worth exploring. Other city streets don't have much scenery. 👍 The main activity here is to relax on the grass by the river. The water is very shallow, just above the ankles, and you can wade in whether you can swim or not. You can also take off your shoes and sit on the riverbank to play in the water. It's recommended to bring your own picnic food. 🏖 Renting a boat: You can also rent a canoe to row around. It's for two people per boat, and you can see the rental place by the river. I forgot to check the price, but if you want to row, remember to wear clothes and shoes that can get wet because there's a small waterfall that will definitely soak you! ⚠️ Warning: At the main scenic spot, there is a crepe shop at the tower bridgehead with very poor service. They deliberately have seats available but lie to us saying there are no seats and ask us to come back at 14:00. However, Google clearly states that it closes at 14:00.
