๐ Two days and one night exploring Carmel.
๐Day1 Drive for about an hour and a half from the Bay Area to reach the downtown aquarium. It's not very big, and tickets aren't cheap, but it's worth a visit if you haven't been before. Afterward, take a stroll at Fisherman's Wharf, which has gift shops and restaurants. Personally, I find the restaurants in Carmel town better, so drive there for dinner. There are many vacation inns there. After checking in, explore the nearby town. The main street is very relaxed and has a fresh, casual vibe. You can take photos by the seaside and have dinner there in the evening. ๐Day 2 Start the morning with brunch and then head straight to 17 Mile Drive. You'll get a map at the entrance ๐บ๏ธ with descriptions of various viewpoints. The 17-mile drive is very beautiful, but the weather can be unpredictable. I've been many times; typically, clouds start to gather after three o'clock โ๏ธ, so try to arrive before then. #BayAreaSurroundings #CaliforniaTravel #SanFrancisco
