10-Year-Old Elementary School Student's Tokyo Travel Guide - Part 4 🌟
Day 6: 📍 Ginza Shopping + Sumida Hokusai Museum Morning: We started early with a visit to Itoya Stationery Building and Uniqlo for customizing Kitty T-shirts—two of my kid’s must-dos. 🌊🎢 Maybe expectations were too high for Itoya; it felt a bit underwhelming. 🌟🌸 Ginza Uniqlo was crowded, and customization required a wait, so I’d recommend getting there early. Later, we stumbled upon another Uniqlo with customization options nearby—less crowded and no waiting! For those interested, check out my other post for more details. 🛍️ 🌊🎢 Lunch was at the MUJI Café. The food was decent, similar to what we’ve had in Beijing. 🍔 Afternoon: Dad took the kid to the Sumida Hokusai Museum. It wasn’t very crowded, and the highlight was the AR experience that brings Hokusai’s famous waves and Mount Fuji to life through interactive displays. 🎨✨ 🌟🌸 In the evening, they met me at the Pocky Café in Ginza, where we enjoyed some well-deserved rest. The desserts earned a high praise from a middle-aged sweet tooth: “Not too sweet.” 🍃🌺 The burger was surprisingly delicious—juicy patty with great seasoning. 🌟🌸 Perfect for a break after a long day of shopping! 🍔☕️ Evening: 🍖 We tried solo BBQ, which was super fun. Each person gets their own mini grill. It felt like being a “Lone Gourmet”—delicious and entertaining! 🌟 🍃🌺 Day 7: ✈️ Tokyo – Beijing Our flight from Narita was scheduled for after 8 p.m. We planned to explore around the hotel before heading to the airport, but there wasn’t much to see. 🌇🌿 Dad suggested the Dream Aeon Mall near the airport. Once we got there, we wished we had come straight here. 🍃🌺 It’s hard to imagine such a massive shopping complex in this small area! If you have a late evening flight from Narita, I highly recommend checking this place out. 🛍️✨ 🌇🌿 #TravelingWithKids #TravelingWithChildren 🌟
