Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

📍22 Mott St, Chinatown

This hidden gem in Chinatown, Ping's, is a decades-old Cantonese restaurant that we’ve visited countless times! Previously, we’d only go for holidays (they have special during the New Year!) or weekend dim sum. This time, we visited on a weekday night and were surprised to find it almost fully booked—truly, a classic never disappoints! 🌟 The atmosphere is quintessential Cantonese dining, full of life and warmth. 🏠 It took several visits to discover their hidden menu! This time, with a larger group, we specifically ordered a few dishes from it. The regulars are still top-notch, with delicious seafood, and must-tries like the Lobster Yee Mee and Nancy Fried Rice. 🍜 🦞 Lobster Yee Mee A must-order every time! For just $60, you get a huge bowl piled high with lobster meat! The noodles are perfectly soaked in savory broth, and there are even some🥬inside. In New York, this is an absolute steal! 🦞 🕊️ Signature Roast Pigeon For authentic Cantonese cuisine, the roast pigeon is a must-try. This place nails it with crispy skin and tender meat. They even provide gloves for easy “hand-tearing”—be sure to order in advance! 🐦 #NewYorkFood #ChinatownDelights 🌆🌟
