3 Romantic & Delicious Date Night Restaurants in NYC 💘🍽️

Since we couldn’t travel for our anniversary this year, my boyfriend and I turned New York itself into a celebration — and what better way than through food? We spent the weekend exploring three incredible spots, each perfect for a romantic (and delicious!) night out. 💗 Sushi Noda We kicked off the weekend with an intimate omakase experience at Sushi Noda. With just eight seats, the vibe was warm and personal. The sake pairing elevated each course, and General Manager Tim kept the mood fun and engaging. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert wine to toast our anniversary 🥂 Favorites: Squid (so tender!), uni, milt (a first for me), and the comforting braised ribbonfish. My boyfriend raved about the shrimp, and I loved my three generous servings of sea urchin. A beautiful, memorable start to the weekend. 💗 Torien A long-awaited visit to this Soho yakitori spot did not disappoint. Every skewer was expertly grilled, but the Hatsu (chicken heart) was life-changing — juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The chicken oyster (a tender part between the thigh and back) was another revelation. And that chicken ramen in rich, silky broth? Pure comfort on a chilly night 🍜 We left happy, full, and already dreaming of our next visit. 💗 Marea This classic Italian restaurant near Central Park has a gorgeous golden bar and an elegant atmosphere — perfect for a special occasion. While the food was excellent (loved the octopus and bone marrow pasta, and the lobster with burrata), it was the celebration upgrade that truly stood out. I pre-ordered champagne, a custom cake, and a handwritten card — and the chocolate cake was a stunning, multi-layered masterpiece 🎂 A sweet bonus: We ended up chatting with a lovely couple celebrating 22.5 years together — who also met online! We toasted to love, longevity, and many more sweet years ahead ✨ Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, a birthday, or just each other — these spots deliver romance, flavor, and memories. #NYCDateNight #RomanticRestaurants #NYCEats #AnniversaryGoals #FoodAndLove
