π½ 3.5-Hour Statue of Liberty Tour Experience(3)
Return Trip ππ’ The return ferry is divided into two directions: New York and New Jersey. βFor the New Jersey direction, there's no need to wait in line; just head straight to the dock. β οΈThe New York direction is quite frustrating. ππ’When boarding the island, we saw that the line for returning to New York stretched all the way to the flagpole. From the position of the lemonade stand, it looked like we would have to wait for the third ferry to board. If you're traveling in a group, it's a good idea to take turns waiting in line while the others find a place to sit. We waited for over an hour under the scorching sun before we could board the ferry. The elderly and children should be mentally prepared for this. ππ’ We boarded at 3:30 p.m. The ferry returning to New York stops first at Ellis Island, so don't get off at the wrong place. The entire journey back to New York takes about half an hour. I recommend finding a seat, as the combination of waiting in line and the journey can be quite tiring. ππ’ The ferry arrived at Battery Park Dock around 4:10 p.m. In summary, Make sure to protect yourself from the sun and heatstroke. Boarding the island is indeed a great way to capture memorable photos, perfect for a keepsake. ππ’ If it's your first time, I still highly recommend visiting the island. #TravelTheWorld #StatueOfLiberty #NewYork π
