4-Day Vegas Road Trip Loop | with Google Maps 📍

✌🏻 Day 1: Exploring Vegas 🍽️ We took a noon flight and landed in time for an authentic Cantonese dim sum lunch at “Sunrise Kitchen” 🥟🍵 — delicious traditional trolley-style service! 🤡 Our indoor sightseeing got delayed due to car rental issues, but I’d recommend just following any city walk map for a casual stroll. We visited The Venetian Resort Las Vegas — totally stunning if you’ve never seen one before: gondola canals, painted sky ceilings, and a charming faux-Venice street 🛶🌤️. ✌🏻 Day 2: Grand Canyon Road Trip 🚘 Vegas to the Grand Canyon is about 4+ hours. We started late (again 😅), but luckily there’s a 1-hour time zone gain heading east — so we “gained” an hour! 😆 🎟️ Grand Canyon National Park charges $35–38 per vehicle. We visited Mather Point — absolutely breathtaking! 🌄 After dark, we ate at the only dining complex inside the park (also houses a visitor center/souvenir shop open late). The Mexican spot had the best reviews, but we picked the regular American fast-food joint — decent but nothing special. 💫 Pro tip: The park has zero light pollution at night — if you finish dinner early, the stargazing is magical! Even an iPhone captures it beautifully 🌌📱. ⛰️ Day 3: Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend ~3-hour drive to Antelope Canyon. It’s split into Upper (steeper, more climbing 🧗) and Lower sections — book a guided tour online in advance (mandatory). We chose Upper Antelope — man-made access, but the views of the sky through the narrow sandstone walls are surreal. ⚠️ Not ideal for those with mobility issues. 🌅 Then we rushed to Horseshoe Bend — get there before sunset or you’ll see nothing in the dark! Golden hour is the most stunning time to visit. Bring a wide-angle lens if you have a camera! 📸🏞️ 🌆 Day 4: Return Trip Started with Lake Powell — would’ve been even prettier if it wasn’t dry season 🏞️💧. Since it was Thanksgiving, boat rentals were closed — otherwise, kayaking on the lake would’ve been lovely 🚣. On the way back, we passed a unique shell-shaped rock formation near a Shell gas station ⛽😆 — a quirky photo stop close to Antelope Canyon! 🚗 Afternoon drive back to Vegas (~4 hours), finished our city walk route, and wrapped up the trip! ✅ #VegasGuide #GrandCanyon #ThanksgivingTrip #LasVegas #HorseshoeBend #AntelopeCanyon #RoadTripUSA #TravelTips
