50% off Italian dining near the Uffizi Gallery.
For my birthday, I booked a table at a century-old, highly-rated restaurant. It's a must-try if you're traveling here, and it's conveniently located near the Uffizi Gallery! After visiting the museum, make a reservation and then head over for a perfect meal. ๐ฅ Appetizer : ๐ Coccoli, stracchino e prosciutto crudo toscano A classic Italian appetizer found in most restaurants. The coccoli have a texture similar to fried dough sticks, paired with prosciutto and soft cheese. ๐ Main Course : ๐ Pici allโaglione (Classic Tuscan Pici Pasta) Garlic-infused pasta, handmade. The pasta is slightly al dente (which Italians seem to prefer). The sauce is rich and hearty, and the portion is quite large. It's perfect for sharing between two people. Sprinkle some cheese on top for an extra burst of flavor. ๐ ๐ฅฉ Second Course : ๐ Filetto al tartufo (Truffle Filet) This dish is incredibly aromatic! You can smell the truffle as soon as it's served. I ordered it medium-rare, and the meat was tender and succulent. It's a must-order! ๐ Ossobuco alla Fiorentina (Florentine Osso Buco) โ Patate al forno Worried about not having enough to eat, I also ordered baked potatoes as a side. The portion was huge and more than enough. The meat is very flavorful, similar to braised beef, and it includes some gelatinous parts that make it even more delicious. (I think it would go perfectly with rice. ๐) This place is truly a hidden gem! I would definitely come back here. You can get 50% off your meal (excluding drinks) by booking on TheFork. For two people, we spent only 59 euros (including drinks) and left completely full! #ExperiencingTheFlavorsOfACity #ItalianCuisine #FoodInTravel #GlobalEatingSquad #Italy #ItalianFood #Florence #Foodie #Pasta #Steak
