Follow Along! 👀 Chasing Autumn, Gazing at Lakes, Playing with Birds, and Hiking 🍂🌊🐦🚶‍♀️ A three-day holiday filled with joy! To avoid the crowds, we chose to travel during off-peak hours. On the first evening, we went to see the lake. There wasn't a soul in sight by the lakeside. We strolled along the sandy beach, searching for peculiar stones in the crystal-clear lake water, practicing stone skipping, and savoring the warmth of the setting sun. We marveled at the sapphire-like color of the lake surface.🐾🐱 On our way back, with the sun setting, we watched cows galloping along the roadsides as we chased the sunset home. 🌅🐄 At 9 AM on the second day, we went to Beaver Creek Conservation Area to play with birds and watch squirrels. No wonder the city is full of big crows—the beautiful little birds are all hiding in the bushes by the creek! The kids held sunflower seeds in their palms, eagerly awaiting the birds' attention, while the adults held their breath in cooperation. 🐦🌰 On the third morning, we went hiking. When we arrived, there were only three cars in the parking lot. After an hour and a half of walking, when we returned, the parking lot was almost full. Luckily, we came early! We climbed up a small hill, overlooking the South Saskatchewan River in the distance, watching Canadian geese fly south in pairs. A couple ran past with their Samoyed, greeting us from afar. They were indeed a stylish family, with the dog's tail fur almost dyed a fiery red. 🐕🔥 At noon, we went home for a hotpot feast. It was truly a satisfying Thanksgiving holiday.
