7-Day Japan Trip | Senso-ji Temple is a Snack Street! ๐โจ
It's true! The food here is really delicious! ๐ธ๐ Especially the meat patties! Juicy meat patties! Tender meat patties! โ ๏ธ Don't go too early; the shops won't be open. They usually start opening around 10 a.m. Once you pass through the Kaminarimon Gate, you'll find a bustling commercial street with every kind of snack you can imagine. ๐ธ๐ There are also shops to the west and north of the temple. Just mark the places you want to visit and walk to each one. ๐ถโโ๏ธ Make sure to leave enough room in your stomach! It'll probably take about two to three hours. Recommended Shops: ๐ Nakamise-dori Street: The fried meat patties are in the middle of this street. ๐ธ๐ After buying them, you need to walk to a small nearby shack to eat them. Don't eat on the street, or you'll get scolded by the ๐ฎ. ๐Asakusa Kagetsudo: The pineapple buns here have a unique combination of hot and cold textures. ๐ Suzukien Asakusa: Offers seven different concentrations of matcha. ๐ต ๐ธ๐Asakusa Haneda: A super fun little shop to explore. ๐๏ธ Not Recommended: ๐ FUGLEN ASAKUSA: They serve sour coffee beans. Skip it if you're not a fan. โ๏ธ ๐ธ๐Other snacks like crepes, strawberry daifuku, and ningyoyaki are everywhere but are neither particularly delicious nor bad. Enjoy your trip and have a great time eating and drinking! ๐ฝ๏ธ #TokyoTravel #Sensoji #MeatPatties ๐๐
