888 Japanese BBQ – Las Vegas All-You-Can-Eat Grill 🥩✨
Both 888 Japanese BBQ and 888 Korean BBQ are pretty well-known in Vegas. Based on recommendations, I heard the Japanese one is tastier, so I decided to check it out! 🎌 It’s located in a standalone building inside the Chinatown plaza. The first time I went, around 9 PM, it was packed with a long wait—couldn’t get in. Ended up eating at the chain Honey Pig next door, which was just okay. 😕 The second time, I arrived at 3 PM, and it was still full house! Waited a bit but finally got a table. They offer three pricing tiers. Comparing the menus, I felt the middle tier (Prime, $32.95) was plenty. I took photos of almost every round of ordering! Portions are just right—enough to enjoy without getting tired of any one dish. The servers all wear black masks—mostly good-looking guys and girls with nice voices. Easy on the eyes, for sure 😉👌 🍣 Sushi ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tried four kinds—no disappointments! Even though the pictures and names weren’t super clear, the Tiger Sushi was the best! Served four pieces at a time, light and not too filling. Highly recommend! 🥗 Appetizers ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We ordered almost all of them. The spicy cucumber was refreshing and helped balance the richness. Other fried items like shrimp tempura and karaage chicken were also delicious! 🥩 BBQ A good variety of meats, mostly marinated. The three dipping sauces tasted pretty similar to me—all slightly sweet, like sukiyaki-style. Even the “spicy” option didn’t have much heat (and I’m from Hunan! 🌶️😅). 💡 Tip: Grill marinated and unmarinated meats separately, and eat them alternately—otherwise, it can get too sweet (personal preference!). For something lighter, try the grilled tofu—crispy outside, soft inside, with a clean bean flavor. 🐂 Beef tongue – Cook briefly; it’s super tender. 🐖 Small intestine – Grill longer for better texture. #LasVegas #BBQ #AllYouCanEat #StudyInUSA #ChineseFood #JapaneseBBQ #VegasEats
