πΈ World Trade Center Building 7 β 2006 Design: SOM ππΈ In 2002, Building 7 was reconstructed on the same site and opened in 2006, still named Building 7. πΈ World Trade Center Transportation Hub β 2016 Design: Santiago Calatrava The designer was inspired by a drawing of a child releasing a dove of peace. ππΈ The hub replaced the collapsed PATH railway system and connects 11 New York City subway lines, Battery Park ferry terminal, World Trade Center Towers 1-4 and the site, the World Financial Center, and the Winter Garden. It opened to the public in March 2016. πΈ Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center β 2023 Design: REX In September 2023, the Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) officially opened to the public. ππΈ The performing arts center is located between World Trade Center Towers 1 and 2 and is named after philanthropist and patron Ronald O.
