9/11 Memorial & Museum

The 9/11 Memorial Pools are two large, black pools that mark the footprints of the Twin Towers. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Water flows from the pools into a central square void, symbolizing the void left by the towers' absence. The dual reflecting pools are a poignant testament to the lives lost. As I looked at the names of the victims, I couldn't help but tear up. Once inside the museum, the sorrow and heartache were indescribable. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ One of the memorial areas features photos and names of all the recorded victims, with walls covered in imagesโ€”it's incredibly intense. Many visitors were moved to tears during their visit. This isn't a typical tourist spot for taking photos, but it's incredibly meaningful. If you're in New York and looking for an emotional journey, the 9/11 Memorial Museum is a must-visit. ๐ŸŒŸโœจ ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Before leaving, I visited the memorial store. Every staff member asked where I was from and if I liked New York. I said I loved it, but the 9/11 museum was very heartbreaking. Before I left, I donated $100, hoping to support the continued operation of this meaningful place. ๐Ÿ’” "NO DAY SHOULD ERASE YOU FROM THE MEMORY OF TIME" - Virgil "Any day should not erase you from the memory of time" - Virgil ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ *Tickets and security checks are required to enter the museum. *If possible, visit with a solemn and respectful mindset. #NewYork #USA #Manhattan #911MemorialMuseum ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ
