A 200‑Year‑Old Steakhouse in NYC 🥩|Delmonico’s
Visited Delmonico’s in the Financial District today with my bestie — a NYC landmark that’s been open for over two centuries, often called the city’s first fine‑dining restaurant. The service and atmosphere live up to its legendary status. 👍🏻 The entrance itself feels historic and grand, like stepping back in time ⌛️. We started with Maine crab cakes wrapped in crispy potato strings 🥔 — creative and delicious. The roasted bacon 🥓 was a surprise — rich yet not greasy, deeply savory and fragrant. For the main, we shared their signature steak 🥩 (cooked medium) — perfectly seared, tender, and juicy. Easily one of the top three steaks I’ve had in NYC. 📍 Address: 56 Beaver St, New York, NY 10004 💰 Price: ~$120 per person If you appreciate history, classic service, and a flawless steak in an iconic setting, Delmonico’s is a timeless NYC experience.
