A 7-Year New Yorker’s Hidden Gems (2)🍝
🥟Torrisi — Tortellini Pomodoro Torrisi, from the same team as Carbone, is equally hard to get a reservation for🥲. The Tortellini Pomodoro has thin wrappers and plenty of filling, with a super refreshing tomato sauce. It’s the kind of deliciousness that’s subtle but unforgettable! 🌅🌿 🐖Ci Siamo — Rigatoni alla Gricia This one is a bit on the salty side, but it doesn’t affect how yummy it is at all!! With pecorino cheese, pork jowl, and black pepper, the flavors are perfectly balanced—aromatic, salty, and just the right amount of oil. 🌟The pasta is super chewy, and one bite will tell you this place is really serious about making pasta! Their other pasta dishes are also delicious~ 🍲🌟 🍖Forsythia — Short Rib Agnolotti A hidden gem in the Lower East Side, all the pasta here is handmade and has an amazing texture! The Agnolotti is filled with tender short ribs and served with a rich sauce. It’s like a gourmet version of beef bourguignon, super comforting and perfect for fall and winter! I’ve written about this place separately before, so check out the details on my profile~ 🍖🍂 🌟 There are so many pasta options in New York, but I would eat these 5 bowls a hundred times! #NewYork 🌃🌟
