A Beautiful & Elegant Italian Restaurant Near the World Trade Center

Brookfield Place is a stunning, airy mall with plenty of great dining options—and Sant Ambroeus stands out as our absolute favorite. From the moment you step inside, you're embraced by an atmosphere of relaxed elegance: high ceilings, soft lighting, and a layout that feels both spacious and intimate. You can enter from the mall or directly from the street, but if you come through the mall entrance, you’ll pass their gorgeous wine fridge and a fully stocked bar that’s truly impressive. Your eyes can’t help but wander upward to the beautiful ceilings, then down to the neatly arranged banquettes and tables. The cocktails at the bar are expertly crafted—balanced, flavorful, and delightful.😍😁 The staff are warm, polite, and efficient, adding to the overall sense of refined hospitality. We started with a refreshing beet and avocado salad with feta—vibrant, fresh, and perfectly dressed. For our mains, the clam linguine was fresh and flavorful, and the Sant Ambroeus ravioli—filled with spinach, ricotta, and sage, topped with Parmigiano—was simply divine.🙌 But the real surprise was finding my favorite dessert, the Princess Pizza, on the menu (it’s a bit of a hidden gem!). This isn’t a pizza at all—it’s a delicate lemon sponge cake layered with vanilla cream, fresh whipped cream, and finished with marzipan icing. An absolute must-try! 🍰💛 A special thank-you to Manager George Laflare, who shared a warm, engaging conversation with us toward the end of our meal. It’s clear he takes great care to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.😊❤️ We left feeling completely charmed—and already planning our next visit. #SantAmbroeus #ItalianElegance #WTCViews #HiddenDessert #GeorgeLaflare #FineDining
