A Charming July 4th Weekend Stay with Breathtaking Fireworks! 🎆🏨

We spent four wonderful nights here over the Independence Day weekend and had a truly delightful experience overall. Our traditional room featured a comfortable king-sized bed and a cozy sitting area with a sofa—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The real highlight, though, was the stunning view of Marion Square right from our window! 🌃💫 On the night of the 4th, we enjoyed a front-row seat to the spectacular fireworks display, all from the comfort of our room. It was absolutely magical! ✨ The hotel’s location is ideal—just steps away from the free DASH bus stops, making it easy to get around Charleston without a car. 🚌💙 The building itself is full of historic charm, and we loved the thoughtful touches like the complimentary afternoon cookies 🍪 and the elegant piano music in the lobby on Friday and Saturday evenings. We also noticed offerings of free cheese and champagne (though we didn’t try them)—a lovely gesture that added to the upscale yet welcoming vibe. 🧀🥂 That said, there were a few minor downsides: the pillows weren’t the most comfortable, and our tankless toilet had some flushing issues in the afternoon—a bit inconvenient but not a major disruption. 🛌🚽 Overall, this was a memorable and enjoyable stay in a fantastic location with unique charm and incredible views.
