A Cost-Effective Day Trip to Arima Onsen
🌈Kobe | A Cost-Effective Day Trip to Arima Onsen: Enjoying Baths and Exhibitions in One Day 🌊♨️ On my first day of revisiting Kobe, it rained all day long. ☔️ So, I had to adjust my itinerary and headed first to Arima Onsen, which is tucked away in the mountains to the north. It’s super convenient to get there—just a 40-minute train ride from downtown Kobe. 🚂 🌈 Arima Onsen, along with Dogo Onsen in Ehime Prefecture and Shirahama Onsen in Wakayama Prefecture, is known as one of Japan’s “Three Ancient Springs.” It has a long history and is very famous! 🌟 The hot spring water here comes in three types: iron- and salt-rich chloride springs, radium-rich radioactive springs, and carbonate-rich bicarbonate springs. 🌊 After emerging from the ground, the iron-rich chloride springs turn brown when they come into contact with the air. 🌈This is called the “Golden Spring” in Arima. The other transparent springs are known as the “Silver Spring.” 🌈 #Kobe 🌇 onsens 🌟
