When a surprise drizzle began, we changed our plans and headed to Gaulart & Maliclet Fast and French for a late lunch instead of an early dinner. The shift in timing turned out to be a delightful surprise! ☔➡️☀️ The place has a true bistro vibe—busy, bustling, and full of energy. It was quite crowded, but I managed to snag a small table in what felt like the coziest (and tiniest) room. While it may not be the most spacious or atmospheric spot to dine, the food and service more than made up for it! 🍽️💫 I enjoyed a delicious smoked salmon and goat cheese open-faced sandwich on toasted rye bread, while my husband had an open-faced baguette topped with olive tapenade and goat cheese. Both meals were beautifully presented and absolutely flavorful. 🥑🧀 Despite the tight quarters, the staff provided friendly and efficient service, making our impromptu meal a memorable one.
