A Creative Southwestern Cuisine Restaurant Open Until 2 AM 🥨

👉 Finally got to try this restaurant; I’ve been twice to sample both brunch and dinner. ——— Brunch —— ✅ Pepita Toast: This pumpkin seed toast had even my partner, who rejects all things pumpkin, raving about it, which speaks volumes for its deliciousness. The thick toast is soft and fluffy, topped with a layer of sweet and salty cream with a hint of pumpkin flavor, and a small blob of honeycomb. It looks simple, but it’s so flavorful. ✔️ Steak & Eggs: The meat had a nice texture and paired well with the green sauce on top. You can even make your own taco with the bread. The red bean puree (soup) on the plate was also tasty. 👉 I noticed many tables ordering the breakfast sandwich, which must also be good. ——— Dinner —— ✅ Pretzel: The first bite was stunning, with a crispy exterior, somewhat like fried dough twists! Inside, it’s aromatic, offering the simple joy of carbs. Dip one bite in butter, and the next in honey. ✔️ Chili corn chips: A huge bowl, perfect for sharing with a group. The corn chips are on the thicker side, seemingly double-fried, and generously topped with chili powder. ⭕️ Elote pasta: Maybe because I was already quite full from the first two dishes, I found this one just okay. The pasta was a bit dry, and the corn kernels were too fried, leaving mostly the tangy taste of cheese. ✔️ Pork ribs: The waitress recommended this dish, mentioning it’s slow-cooked. The ribs were tender with a sweet and spicy flavor. 👉 Personally, I prefer their brunch, but the dinner atmosphere might have the edge, with a little candlelight 🕯️, perfect for date nights or girls’ gatherings. It’s advisable to make a reservation in advance. 👉 They also serve Pastries starting at 7 AM. The chef, Crystal Kass, was nominated for this year’s James Beard Outstanding Pastry Chef semi-finals. If you want to try them, you might need to arrive early at the restaurant. #Arizona #Phoenix #WeekendDiningExploration #JoinMyDiningAdventure #DateNightRestaurant #AtmosphericRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #PumpkinToast #Pasta
