A Day at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo 🐘🌿

Omaha is the largest city in Nebraska, and its Henry Doorly Zoo is truly one of the top zoos in the U.S.—a must-visit, especially if you’re in the Midwest! 🇺🇸 My experience: The zoo and aquarium combined felt a bit smaller than I expected, and the variety of animals wasn’t as extensive as I’d imagined. But what really stood out was the fantastic interactive experience and atmosphere! 🚂 There’s a cute vintage train and a sky tram that let you circle or soar above the zoo—so much fun! You can get up close with macaws, butterflies 🦋, and even giraffes 🦒. The desert dome and butterfly pavilion are beautifully designed with immersive environments that make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. Lots of kids everywhere—there are splash zones 💦, sand play areas, and petting zones where little ones can interact with birds and small animals. A perfect spot for families! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Since it’s still pretty warm these days, many animals were chilling in the shade 🥵. I’d recommend visiting in spring or fall for better animal activity.
