A Day in Las Vegas: Stroll, Stop, and See a Show
Transportation for the day: Walking + Uber πΆββοΈπ Las Vegas Sign Took an Uber to the entrance of Trump Hotel. We arrived late (around 10 PM) and there was a line β but you can also take photos from the side without waiting! A self-proclaimed photographer was there offering "free photos" (tips appreciated if you let him shoot). Luxor Hotel ποΈ Took a short ride over. Known for its pyramid shape and Sphinx statue β iconic Vegas architecture! New York-New York Hotel π½ Home to the Statue of Liberty replica and a roller coaster in the back. Across from MGM. You can view it from the pedestrian bridge β the castle next door adds to the whimsical skyline. MGM Grand π¦ Went inside to book tickets for David Copperfieldβs magic show at 7 PM β fifth row center! Note: I tried booking online but had payment issues, so in-person worked better. Lunch π Just grabbed a quick bite while wandering through the hotel. M&Mβs World π« Two floors full of colorful merch and cute photo ops with giant M&Mβs characters β loved it! Coca-Cola Store π₯€ Similar vibe to M&Mβs, with fun Coke-branded apparel (the hats are cute!). Passed an Asian supermarket πͺ and picked up some snacks and fruit. All these spots are close together β we walked everywhere, then Ubered back to the hotel to rest. David Copperfield Show at MGM π©β¨ Arrived 30 minutes early, showed our e-tickets. Fifth row center was perfect! Before the show, phones had to be silenced and placed in a box on the table. Great storytelling and interaction β David even stood right next to me and gave a prop to the kid beside us! Show lasted about 1.5 hours. β There are tons of other shows: KA, O, male revues, etc. β not all are at MGM, so check official websites for accurate info! Wynn Hotel ποΈ Ubered to Wynn for shopping, but it was closed. Still, enjoyed the elegant atmosphere and walked back to Trump Hotel. Uber total: $53 (before tip) for 4 rides. The distances arenβt far β if you have good weather and energy, you could easily walk between many spots. Overall, a relaxed yet fulfilling Vegas day β no rush, just enjoying the vibe.
