A Day in Tallinn: Afternoon Tea at a Medieval Restaurant🍣
🌈A day trip from Helsinki to Tallinn—crossing the Baltic Sea and stepping back in time. 🎒 Sightseeing Highlights 🌈Tallinn's Old Town is compact and easy to explore—just follow the signs and wander. 🌈Kohtuotsa Viewing Platform 🌟🌟🌟🌟 ✨Located in Upper Town, it offers the best panoramic views of the Old Town, framed beautifully by the distant sea. ✨Alexander Nevsky Cathedral 🌟🌟🌟 ✨A stunning Orthodox church both inside and out, ✨with the nearby Toompea Castle (now partially ruins and home to Estonia's Parliament). 🍹The Upper Town walls also reveal fascinating history, 🍹like the division between Upper and Lower Town and the origin of the Danish flag. 🍽️ Food & Drinks Restoran Olde Hansa 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🍹A must-visit medieval-themed restaurant. From the dimly lit interior and ornate menus to the wooden 🍹tableware, everything transports you to the past. 🥯The menu features unique dishes (including bear and reindeer meat). 🥯We tried the meat stew and salad—both delicious and reasonably priced. 🥯The staff in period costumes were delightful, 🥯even joking that eating rose petals from the pudding would make us "10 years younger" 🧚♀️. Tassikoogid 🌟🌟🌟 A charming pink-themed café spotted on the walk from the port to the Old Town. Specializing in sweet cupcakes and serving tea in exquisite vintage sets. #TallinnTravel #Estonia #TallinnFood
