A day trip around Paris/Autonomous driving to Zoo Thoiry
๐ฅน I made plans with a friend to take bรฉbรฉ to Zoo Thoiry in the 78th province while the weather was still not too hot ๐ผ ๐ This zoo is quite large (but can't compare to the one in Bois-le-Duc, which has giant pandas ๐ผ), but there are so many types of animals. You can get close-up views of leopards and tigers through the glass tunnels. ๐ We parked the car outside and first walked around the small park area, which mainly had small animals that you could get close to, such as vultures and ring-tailed lemurs?? ๐ The most interesting part is that you can squat at the feeding times listed on the park's website for a more immersive experience. ๐ฅฐ We originally planned to take the park's sightseeing car with my friend. The sightseeing car requires advance ticket purchase, which can be done on the zoo's website or at the shop next to the boarding point. Make sure to check the time and make a reservation (only the sightseeing car can enter the lion garden, ๐ฅน autonomous driving is not allowed). Unfortunately, the sightseeing car was broken and out of service that day. On the way, we encountered a cable car project that could glide over the lion garden ๐ฏ. My partner and I really wanted to try it, but because the sightseeing car was broken and my friend and I were eager to go to the Safari park to see elephants and bears, we had to give up the idea of riding the gliding cable car to see the lions ๐บ. ๐ The most convenient thing is that you only need to show your ticket at the Safari entrance without making a reservation (!! But be careful, the autonomous driving park closes one hour earlier than the walking park!). #Paris #My Travel Diary #Autonomous Driving #Zoo Thoiry #Travel #Recommended Check-in Place #Guide ### name:Zoo Thoiry address:78th province, paris, france type:zoo ###
