A French Restaurant That Makes Delicious Beef Wellington

🍽️🧥Happened to be near the hotel, so I made a reservation and went for lunch. The menu is in French, but the waiter was super nice and translated the whole menu for us (thankfully it wasn’t that long hahaha). 🌧️It was cold and rainy outside, so I wanted something warm to drink. I asked if they had hot chocolate, and he said no, but the chef could make some for us, which instantly bumped up the likeability factor. The black truffle ham in the appetizers is highly recommended, and the combination with butter is brilliant. The Beef Wellington in the main course is really delicious with perfect myoglobin in the meat, not blood, making it tender and juicy. Dessert is a must-have, and the cheese cake covered with kiwi is refreshing and not cloying. 🌟🍰🥛The most enjoyable part was the sudden rain. I sat in the restaurant looking outside, noticing that people don’t really like using umbrellas, just putting on hats and zipping up their jackets. I zoned out by the window, with the sound of rain providing background music to the piano piece.
