A Fusion Restaurant That Only Does Shrimp, A Hidden Gem in Brussels
π§πͺ A Fusion Restaurant That Only Does Shrimp, A Hidden Gem in Brussels π€β¨ Friends came all the way from London and couldn't help but eat at Shrimp's for two consecutive days. The first time was the day after class ended, feeling like it was finally time to eat something good; the second time was when we were heading home from school together, and she pondered, "Why not take away a portion?" π€π Cooking delicious food seems easy, but maintaining consistent quality and even updating the menu regularly tests a chef's skills as a culinary artist. There are only two people in this restaurant: the waiter and the cook. According to the waiter, he used to work in a high-end hotel in Hong Kong, but he couldn't interact with the guests in the kitchen, so he came back to Brussels to open this restaurant. It's evident that he loves his job, patiently introducing the menu to me every time I bring friends. π¨βπ³π Perhaps because of his past experience working in Asia, their dishes are also filled with Asian flavors. The waiter mentioned that they went to Southeast Asia for inspiration last summer vacation. To be honest, this was the first time I've had European stir-fry that tasted good; the first time I went, he asked me how it was, and I said, "Just like what I make at home." π΄π That's the highest praise I can give. If you like rich flavors, I recommend the pasta; if you prefer something lighter, go for the rice. I've tried almost everything on the menu, so don't ask me what to choose, just ask the waiter, and you can't go wrong. ππ π Rue Defacqz 27, 1050 Ixelles #RestaurantRecommendation #AtmosphericRestaurant #GlobalEatingTeam #TreasureRestaurantShare #WeeklyGourmetCheckIn #BrusselsFood #BelgianLife #ExploringStores #FusionCuisine #Shrimp #LoveToEat #EuropeanLife #EuropeanTravel πππΊ
