A Healing Kayaking Adventure Near Las Vegas! πΆπ
This is my ninth year visiting Vegas, and Iβve pretty much explored all the nearby attractions β but I just discovered this gem! Found online: a guided kayaking tour that meets at Mandalay Bay β perfect for those without a rental car π I went in early November, and the weather was absolutely perfect β comfortably cool, refreshing water, and breathtaking views. The water was this stunning emerald green, crystal clear and so transparent you could see all the way to the bottom, even in the deep parts π They offer two routes: βΆ 4.5 miles β Great for beginners, takes about 3-4 hours β· 12 miles β Better for experienced or duo kayakers π§° What to Bring/Wear: Quick-dry clothes (you might get partially wet β my pants were soaked π ) Sunscreen π§΄, hat, and sunglasses are a MUST Sports shoes that can get wet A change of clothes & extra shoes Your phone/wallet in a waterproof bag (they provide one!) π‘ Tips from My Experience: If itβs your first time, go as a duo β paddling solo is a real workout! πͺ Donβt stress if you bump into other kayaks β theyβre pretty stable! Snacks and water are provided mid-tour ππͺ Let yourself pause sometimes and just soak in the views β blue skies, emerald water, and total peace π€οΈπ This was such a relaxing and refreshing experience β one Iβd definitely do again! If youβve already been to the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyonβ¦ give kayaking a try next! #KayakingVegas #HealingTravel #SoloKayak #VegasBeyondTheStrip #NatureTherapy
