An exciting new Hello Kitty Cafe just opened on July 11 in Santa Clara, with hundreds of fans showing up to experience the new cafe. Located in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall, the spacious cafe includes patio seating, an afternoon tea service, themed desserts, and more. Adorned in Hello Kitty’s signature pink, the cafe is brimming with themed treats . The cafe features an afternoon tea option, with sandwiches, desserts like a Hello Kitty mini cake , and a large selection of teas. For the evening, you can try from their dessert menu featuring strawberry and matcha tiramisu, strawberry shortcake, and more. The evening desserts also come with drink pairings, including champagne, hot chocolate, and strawberry soda. For on-the-go treats, the cafe offers blended drinks , including the “supercute dream” made with raspberries, whipped cream, and marshmallows. Mini donuts in three different flavors and a variety of coffee drinks are also on the menu. The cafe also carries plenty of adorable merchandise , including key chains, mugs, and crewnecks. Hello Kitty has been delighting audiences since the 1970s and is part of Sanrio, which has numerous other popular character brands under its umbrella. The new cafe follows other successful openings across the United States, including Las Vegas and Irvine. In the past, a wildly popular Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has regularly made stops in the Bay Area and other parts of California, selling delicious treats and exclusive merchandise. This July, the West Coast truck is currently making its rounds in Southern California before continuing up the coast to Oregon and Washington.
