A Hidden Garden & Museum at a Parisian Street Corner
Museé Carnavalet 🤍 Open from Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (Closed on Mondays) The café, called Fabula, also takes a break on Mondays, but it stays open until 2:00 am from Tuesday to Saturday, and closes at 6:00 pm on Sunday.❤️ 🤍 Nestled in the Marais district, this free museum is dedicated to tracing the history of Paris. From the basement to the third floor, it progressively showcases the city’s development history with many interactive installations (you can play around for a long time). Once you reach the main entrance, just walk right in; sometimes you might need to queue for security checks. After the check, there are lockers to the right (also free), which are very convenient for museum visits and a lovely afternoon tea.❤️ 💚 The entrance to the café is on the first floor, with a “jardin” sign to guide you; there’s only one entrance. You place your order at the counter once you’re in the garden (usually where you see a queue; many people mistakenly wait for a server to come to them and end up waiting for a long time). Drinks are self-served on the side, and the food will be brought to your table by a server.❤️ 🤍 The white ball installation is only on display in the summer, so it’s best to go early and not wait too long, haha, as it’s getting chilly these days. After a hearty lunch, sitting with friends in the sunshine, surrounded by blooming flowers and greenery, with the air filled with a leisurely coffee aroma, you can then go back inside to explore the museum, continue to feel the vibe of the city, or go out shopping. Such a charming city, ah!❤️ #FrenchLife #France #ParisCafé #ParisMuseums #COTDCoffeeExploration #CarnavaletMuseum
