A Hidden Gem Turkish Restaurant in New York
Made Me Cry from Joy‼️ Super High Score and Affordable! On a sunny August weekend, I visited a highly-rated Turkish restaurant near Central Park😍 The overall atmosphere was fantastic, and it even had a small garden~ I originally wanted to try their stewed lamb shank, but to my surprise, they only offered a Brunch menu at lunchtime. However, I was truly amazed by their Brunch! We ordered a full table of dishes and loved every single one! It was delicious and very affordable, with an average cost of $40 per person. I’ve already made a reservation for a second visit💯 🔥LAHMACUN: Turkish lamb flatbread, with a thin and crispy base, topped with plenty of lamb filling, so fragrant! 🔥3 CHEESE PIDE: One of the signatures of this place, a boat-shaped thin-crust Pide, with a crispy base and a mix of three cheeses, topped with Turkish honey~ Who can resist the stringy, rich cheese! 🔥LEYLA LAMB BURGER: A huge lamb burger, packed with meat, cooked to medium perfection, super juicy~ Also, their fries are right up my alley! 🔥CROQUE HANIM: Two layers of waffles with smoked bacon in between, topped with plenty of cheese 🔥’THE TURK’ SUCUKLU YUMURTA: Turkish lamb sausage with a sunny-side-up egg, the sausage was delicious 🔥BRANZINO CRUDO: Sea bass slices were well-seasoned, served with salad~ They also provided crispy toasted bread, which paired well with the fish 🔥MUHAMMARA: A dish recommended by the staff, a Turkish dip with pomegranate syrup and walnuts, tasted great on bread~ 🔥The dessert must be the Turkish ice cream! Super creamy, with a perfect texture! They also served Turkish black tea, which was delicious and cut through the richness of the meal! 📍Leyla #LocalFoodieSecrets #NewYork #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFood #HiddenGemRestaurants #NewYorkRestaurants #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExploration #NewYorkManhattanFood #NewYorkFoodRecommendations #NewYorkTreasureRestaurants #NewYorkDateNightRestaurants #NewYorkHiddenGemRestaurants #TurkishFood #Turkey #NewYorkBrunch #NewYorkBrunch #NewYorkUpperWestSide #NewYorkUpperWestSideFood #NewYorkWhatToEat
