A Hidden Retro Bar in the Basement of Chinatown ๐Ÿฎ

Tonight, I visited Ye's Apothecary, also known as Nightingale, in Chinatown. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ This basement bar is decorated in a style reminiscent of 1970s and 1980s Shanghai nights, with red wine and green lights, creating a very atmospheric vibe. ๐ŸŽ‰ Their cocktails are all very Chinese-inspired. We ordered their signature Apothecary special, where the waiter asks for our preferred ingredients and flavors. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Then, the bartender mixes us a one-of-a-kind cocktail based on our mood. ๐Ÿฅƒ The bartender even pours it right in front of us, which adds a great sense of ceremony. This drink has a base of white liquor and the refreshing aroma of coconut milk. It's really delicious!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป There's also a cocktail called "Yuanyang" that's very tasty. It has a milky flavor with a hint of coffee and orange sweetness. ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Their bar snacks are also great, with an Asian twist. We had sweet and sour pork ribs, duck rolls, and pork belly, all of which paired perfectly with their cocktails. It was so satisfying.๐Ÿ˜Œ ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒธ Address: 119 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002 #NewYork ๐ŸŒƒ๐ŸŒŸ
