A huge kimbap in Soho, New York!
This is a small Korean restaurant tucked away on the east side of Soho. If you’re not paying attention, you might miss it! The space inside is tiny, with no seating available. As someone who loves kimbap, I was super excited when I saw the size of these rolls! Besides kimbap, the shop also offers rice bowls 🍚, tofu bites, and drinks 🥤. I’ll definitely be coming back to this Soho spot just for the kimbap! Everything is made fresh, and it takes about 5 minutes to get your order. The shop is small, with a counter where you can stand and eat, but most people take their food to go in a little bag. The protein portions in the kimbap are insane—bulgogi is sweet and savory, the egg is tender, and the pickled radish is refreshing, making the rice almost an afterthought 😆. Each bite is incredibly satisfying! It’s the perfect lunch for busy workers and a great option for those on a diet. I ordered the bulgogi kimbap: it has a thin layer of rice + beef, egg strips, carrot strips, burdock root, spinach, and pickled radish. One word—delicious! They start wrapping it after you order, so it’s super fresh. If you’re in a hurry, you can also order online in advance. It’s a bit pricey (mine was ~$15), but compared to kimbap in Ktown, it’s bigger and fresher. 📍 Rice Kitchen 204 Spring St, New York, NY 10012 #NYCFood #Kimbap #FoodieLife #WeeklyFoodCheck
