A Journey to Tangier in Morocco ๐ฐโต๏ผ1๏ผ
Tangier, hailed as the "Horn of Africa," was the second stop on our Moroccan adventure ๐๐. On the morning of March 24th, we were at the seaside behind the Sun Coast Hotel in Rabat, savoring the sea breeze ๐ฌ๏ธ๐, listening to the rhythmic lullaby of the waves. We strolled along the sandy beach, snapped photos ๐ธ, picked up stones and shells, and watched the fishermen at work, immersing ourselves in the capricious yet captivating beauty of the ocean ๐๐ฃ. ๐๏ธAfter a hearty breakfast, we set off along the Atlantic coast towards Tangier. Our first destination was the graffiti town of Asilah, also known as the "City of Art" ๐จ. It's most famous for its graffiti walls, which are said to have a history spanning several centuries. ๐ However, our guide told us that in preparation for a graffiti festival, the locals had painted all the original graffiti walls white, and what we saw now were all recent creations. One couldn't help but wonder if this was a modern-day example of a "vanity project," leaving us with a mix of amusement and disbelief ๐ค. #Morocco #MoroccanCharm #AtlanticOcean
