A Kamakura Stroll Away from the Crowds 🌟
Behind Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, there's a less - crowded garden pond where seagulls, ducks, pigeons, and carp are all vying for food. 🎢🍃 The competition is fierce. I spent almost an hour watching and concluded that the seagulls, being amphibious, are the most formidable, often resorting to physical fights. The ducks are more laid - back, eating only what falls right in front of them without much fuss. The carp are also very aggressive, gathering in large groups with their mouths wide open, eager for food, and sometimes even pushing each other onto the shore. 🎢🍃 The pigeons, unable to enter the water, can only walk along the shore, picking up leftovers, which seems quite pitiful. After watching the seagulls, I went to the beach in Zushi to watch the sunset. There's a large café right by the beach, with a terrace facing the sea. The view is great, but perhaps because it was a bit chilly, there were fewer people in line. I only had to wait for 5 minutes. 🎢🍃 The menu is American - style, with toast that has a lethal amount of butter and sugar, but it actually suits the slightly cold seaside at dusk. The evening sky was gilded, and the beach at sunset was truly beautiful. Another day of envying the residents of Shonan. ⛩️ Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine ☕️ Nagisa Café #TokyoDayReturn #TokyoSurroundingsTrip 🌇
