A Leisurely Half-Day Stroll Along Broadway in Wall Street πŸŸπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

Today, I embarked on a 50-minute leisurely walk from Lower Manhattan down to the southern tip of Wall Street. Along the way, I passed by NYU Tisch School of the Arts' building, where legendary director Ang Lee might have once taken classes πŸŽ¬πŸŽ“. Then, I wandered over to NYU's Paulson Center, which houses classrooms, a cafeteria, a sports field, and dormitoriesβ€”all in one bustling hub πŸ«πŸ½οΈπŸ€πŸ›Œ. Strolling along Broadway, I was surrounded by luxury boutiques, and passersby were clutching shopping bags from high-end brands πŸ‘œπŸ’Ό. We popped into Tjmaxx, expecting something akin to a Bicester Village outlet, but were disappointed to find it more like a big-box store in a small town πŸ˜…πŸ›οΈ. The streets were teeming with stylish ladies and folks in quirky outfits πŸ‘—πŸ•ΆοΈ. As we descended further, we suddenly found ourselves on a street filled with loiterers eyeing passersby, and the air was thick with the smell of marijuana and urine πŸ˜·πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ’¨. I quickly slipped on my sunglasses, grabbed my boyfriend's arm, and hurried past, blending in with the tall white folks around us. It was just a three-minute stretch, but it felt like an eternity! πŸ˜°πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ After that, we popped into Whole Foods to grab some snacks and take a breather πŸ›’πŸŽ. We then headed to the Charging Bull statue on Wall Street to snap some photos, but the line was way too long, so we settled for taking pictures from the sidelines πŸ‚πŸ“Έ. Next up, we hopped on the free Staten Island Ferry for a cruise around the harbor 🚒🌊. We caught glimpses of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the twinkling nightscape of Wall Street πŸ—½πŸŒ‰πŸŒƒ. My boyfriend and I were cozy and chatting the whole time on the boat πŸ’‘πŸ’¬. When he went off to take photos, a white guy struck up a conversation with me, saying my boyfriend was clearly a great guy, judging by the loving look in his eyes. This guy, who seemed like he'd seen it all, confidently assured me that my boyfriend was a keeper πŸ˜‚πŸ‘. All in all, it was a joyful day! πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰ #NYCCityWalk #NYCWeekend #WallStreet πŸ—½πŸŒ†
