A Leisurely Half-Day Stroll from Broadway to Wall Street 🚶‍♀️💕

Today, we took a 50-minute walk from Lower Manhattan all the way down to Wall Street, soaking in the city’s vibrant (and sometimes chaotic) energy along the way. NYU & Broadway’s Eclectic Vibes 🎭🛍️ Passed by NYU Tisch School of the Arts (where Ang Lee might have once studied? 🎬) and the futuristic NYU Paulson Center (a combo of classrooms, dining hall, gym, and dorms—so NYC!). Broadway was buzzing with luxury shoppers carrying giant branded bags. Popped into TJMaxx, expecting a high-end outlet vibe, but… nope, just felt like a suburban discount mart. 😅 People-watching gold 👀: Fashionable girls, quirky outfits, and then… a sketchy block filled with loiterers and ahem herbal aromas. Cue the sunglasses, tightened grip on my boyfriend, and a speedy walk past (sticking close to tall white guys for safety vibes 🏃‍♂️💨). Wall Street & the Charging Bull 🐂📸 Stopped at Whole Foods to refuel (avocado toast supremacy 🥑). The Charging Bull had a crazy line, so we snapped a quick side-angle pic instead. ✅ Hopped on the FREE Staten Island Ferry at sunset—epic views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and the glittering Wall Street skyline. 🌉✨ Love in the Air (and a Random Compliment) 💘 While my boyfriend was busy photographing the skyline, a random white dude told me, “Your man’s a keeper—he looks at you like you’re the whole universe.” 🥹 Apparently, this stranger had a PhD in Love Detection. Thanks, ferry philosopher!
