A Lifelong Dream Come True – Visiting Alcatraz Island! ⛴️🏝️

I’ve waited my whole life to come to this island, and it did not disappoint. The ferry was fast and the crew were friendly and professional. The island itself had an eerie, haunting atmosphere—even on a relatively warm day, there was a distinct chill in the air, both in temperature and in feeling ❄️👻. The tour was incredibly well-organized and informative, offering deep insight into the lives of the prisoners who once lived here. Learning about their daily routines, struggles, and escape attempts was both moving and unforgettable 📘✨. However, it was much more crowded than I expected. For such a compact space, the large number of visitors did affect the atmosphere and made it harder to absorb everything in peace. The cells were astonishingly small—it’s hard to imagine how anyone could endure such confinement. But I suppose that was the whole point: this was a place of punishment 🚪🔒. Despite the crowds, it was a powerful and memorable experience.
