Panthéon – The Parthenon The Panthéon in Paris, like the Parthenon in Greece and the Pantheon in Rome, shares a similar meaning. Could we say it follows Roman-style architecture? 🤔 On the ground floor of Paris’ Panthéon, you’ll find paintings and sculptures, with a Foucault pendulum in the center. The first floor is definitely the most impressive! For just 3 euros, you can grab an audio guide and discover the rich history behind these artworks—it’s amazing how much you can learn! 🎧🖼️ In the crypt below, you’ll find the resting places of great figures like Rousseau, Hugo, Dumas, Voltaire, and Marie Curie. There aren’t many rooms to explore down here, but that’s because it’s a mausoleum after all—the main purpose of the Panthéon. 🏛️ On the right side of the first floor, there’s a staircase leading to the top. For an additional 3.5 euros (students go free!), you can climb up. It’s a bit of a workout, but the view is worth it! From the top, you can follow the guide map and spot all of Paris’ famous skyline landmarks. 🗼🌆 I’d give it five stars! ⭐️ If you’re spending a week in Paris, this is definitely worth visiting. #Paris #Pantheon
