A Month in Florida: Loving Village Life More and More
After moving from Philadelphia to a small town in Gainesville a month ago, I was pretty anxious before arriving. I kept wondering: Would village life be boring? Would I end up feeling lonely or down? Would the streets feel empty? But turns out—I was totally overthinking it! I actually feel like I was made for this kind of life, and I’ve been genuinely happy every single day 😊✨. Even though the town only has about 160,000 people, the local stadium—which seats 90,000—is almost full during games 🏈🙌. Daily life is so convenient: everything I need is just a 5-minute drive away 🚗🛒. Parking is always available, no more parking fees or crazy tickets 🅿️🙅♂️💸. Plus, Orlando is only 2 hours by car, and flying to Miami is super easy too 🚗✈️🌴. All in all—I’m falling more in love with living in the village! #US #Florida #Jacksonville
