Spent the long President’s Day weekend in Palm Springs – this season is absolutely perfect for exploring this charming desert town! Sunny, relaxing, and full of delicious food and fun activities. After a major disappointment the previous day, I was a bit nervous about trying new places, but this French gem totally blew me away. It was incredible! 😍 📍 French Rotisserie Café – located in Palm Desert, about 30 mins from Palm Springs. A bit of a drive, but totally worth it! 💰 Around $70 per person 📌 Very popular – make sure to book in advance! 🌟 The restaurant has a classic European vibe with soft lighting – perfect for dates and a relaxing trip. The food is authentically French, and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. ❤️ Escargots de Bourgogne – A must-order! Eight huge snails stuffed with basil butter sauce. So tender and flavorful. We wiped the plate clean with fresh baguette 🥖🍃 ❤️ Boeuf Bourguignon – Perfectly braised beef in red wine sauce, super tender and aromatic. Served with smooth mashed potatoes – reminds me of Chinese stewed beef! Even Asian taste buds will love this one 🍷🐄 ❤️ Bouchées à la Reine Fruits de Mer – Seafood stew under a flaky, buttery puff pastry dome 🥧🦞 Break the crust into a rich scallop and mushroom cream broth – so heavenly! ❤️ Les Profiteroles – Soft choux pastry filled with vanilla ice cream and drenched in dark chocolate sauce 🍫🍨 Rich, sweet, and absolutely satisfying! 🍹 Provence – A French aperitif cocktail with bubbles – strong yet sweet with a nice contrasting kick 🥂 💥 Overall, this hidden French restaurant was an amazing surprise. Every dish was a delight – authentic, flavorful, and served in a cozy, romantic setting. Probably my favorite meal in Palm Springs!
