A Must-Visit Fusion Restaurant in Edinburgh 🍴
I’ve struck gold again with a Michelin experience in Edinburgh, lucky me! 🍀 Let me give you a quick intro, Noto is a restaurant that combines Japanese and European cuisine, and it’s been featured in the Michelin Guide. Here’s a rundown of the dishes: 🔵 The must-try p2: A crab dish accompanied by sourdough bread. The butter sauce can be a bit salty, but it’s perfect when paired with the crab meat and bread. Bread with bread, ha ha ha, and there’s also a crispy salmon snack that’s quite tasty. 🟢 p5 is the highly recommended beef tartare. The meat is fresh and comes with a topping that I honestly can’t pinpoint every time I eat it; it seems to be a thin slice of taro, and the combination is excellent. 🟡 p6’s duck bun literally gives me the feeling of eating Chinese cuisine. The bun is perfectly steamed 😌, they’ve really captured the essence of Chinese cooking, and it even comes with scallions, a perfect fit for our Chinese palates. 🟠 p7’s dessert deserves a special mention. It’s probably a meringue shell with a red beetroot filling and ice cream that matches the flavor. The overall sweetness is not too high, and the control over the sweetness of the meringue is one of the lowest sugar servings I’ve had since coming abroad. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, living up to the Michelin standard. The average spend was 36💷. PS: If you’re in Edinburgh and not drinking, you can opt for tap water, it won’t make your hair fall out. #EdinburghRestaurantExploration #EdinburghSeafoodRestaurant #EdinburghHiddenGemRestaurant #EdinburghMichelin #EdinburghFoodExploration #EdinburghFoodReview #EdinburghRestaurantReview #EdinburghRestaurants #noto
