A Must-Visit When in New York! 🌟🍽️
This is hands down one of the best Midtown restaurants I’ve ever been to. From the elegant hostess to the polished and attentive servers, every interaction felt warm and refined. The atmosphere is stunning—earthy tones, soft lighting, and a layout that balances intimacy with energy. I loved the open kitchen concept and the sight of the Taboon—a portable clay oven that fills the space with the comforting aroma of freshly baked bread. 🍞🔥 The menu is simple yet deeply appealing. We started with a selection of Mezze: Eggplant Dip 🍆 Creamy Yogurt 🥣 Mediterranean Mixed Olives 🫒 All served with a basket of irresistible bread. We literally cleaned every plate! Next came the Tunisian Cigar—flavored subtly with Amba (a tangy mango chutney), and the Israeli Chopped Salad tossed in tahini and schug. Fresh, vibrant, and full of character. For the mains: NY Strip Steak 🥩 Grilled Hanger Steak Skewer 🔥 Both were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and deeply satisfying. A meat lover’s dream come true! Too full for dessert? Almost. But we shared the Silan—a sweet, date-based delight that was the perfect graceful finish to a beautiful meal. If you’re in NYC, don’t miss this place. It’s more than a meal—it’s a memory. #MidtownGem #OpenKitchen #TaboonBread #MezzeLove #MeatLoversParadise #NYCDining
