A Native American Village Isn’t Complete Without Its Furry Friends 🐕❤
At the Pueblo village near Santa Fe, the local community deeply reveres the snow-capped mountains and flowing rivers, embracing nature and its spirits as central to their beliefs. 🌄💧 The traditional homes here were originally built without doors—entry was through ladders leading to rooftop openings! 🪜🏠 Later, influenced by Spanish settlers, doors were added, and outdoor adobe ovens became a common feature, blending cultural traditions over time. While wandering through the village, I met the most relaxed and friendly local dogs—they were super affectionate and even came over for cuddles! 🥰🐾 It’s these little moments that make travel so heartwarming. 📍 Taos Pueblo, NM #SantaFe #NativeAmericanCulture #TaosPueblo #NewMexico #CulturalHeritage #TravelWithPets #HistoricVillages #NatureWorship #TraditionalArchitecture #ExploreNewMexico #LocalFlavor #DogLovers #Wanderlust #SpiritualJourney #OffTheBeatenPath
